What is it?
Know Your AQ is an experiential event service for those who are interested in preserving the fun and ambiance of their event while providing an exemplary level of care to their guests when alcohol is being served.
This service enables participants to voluntarily test their blood alcohol concentration (BAC) level over the course of an evening and take an active and preemptive role in their choices surrounding alcohol consumption. We provide a "guest friendly" meeting area for participants to interact with our state-of-the-art calibrated breathalyzers and ask questions of our highly trained personnel.
Know Your AQ utilizes Ladybug's proprietary BAQ Tracker™ System to educate participants about the difference between impairment and intoxication.
How does it work?
- A Host contracts with Ladybug Teknologies Inc. to provide Know Your AQ at their special event.
- Guests voluntarily test their breath alcohol level over the course of the evening utilizing approved breath screening devices.
- Real time processing of BAC readings builds awareness and peer accountability encourages guests to take an active and preemptive role in their choices regarding alcohol consumption.
- Education and partnership with nationwide taxi programs provide guests with a socially responsible exit strategy.
- Stakeholders collaborate to provide an exemplary duty of care and mitigate liability for those who take an active role in delivering their duty of care.
- Attitudes and behaviors associated with alcohol consumption start the change process.
