This unit has a high quality graphic display, 10-sample memory and can be configured in one of four languages (English, French, German or Spanish) on the fly. In addition, this unit can be used in passive, automatic or manual sampling modes for more clinical applications. Pre-delivery, this unit can be configured to display %BAC, Pass/Alert/Fail, Mg/100mL and a variety of other options. Based on the same great enforcement-quality fuel cell as the Alcotest 6510, the A3000 is the consumer's instrument of choice. The A3000 keeps costs in check by eliminating some of the nice-to-have, but unnecessary, features of the Alcotest 6510. This unit incorporates the same high quality display but keeps things simple with no memory function and a simple manual sampling mode. Pre-delivery, this unit can be configured for a single language of choice.
The A3000 comes in a soft-sided, easy to store carrying case complete with hand strap, 3 sterile prepackaged mouthpieces and two AA batteries. This unit is sure to please as a tool for self management or for social drinkers who want to share the knowledge with friends and family!
